This week, so far, in words

Well this week started out not so good.
Hubby and I were in a car accident yesterday.
A car pulled out right in front of us. We are very lucky there is a bullbar on the ute. If not, the damage to our car would have been bad.
Hubby was fine, I was not. I got winded, I couldn't breathe properly. I went into shock.
The other driver came over and apologised. It took a good 20 minutes before I could get back into the car.
Hubby was taking me to my mums house (I'm house sitting at my parents place at the moment) so I could feed the cats and let them out. He starts work in Canning Vale almost everyday so it's just around the corner.
He ended up taking me home, he didn't go to work. I am fine now but I have to tell you, I was scared.

Today hubby has taken today off also. My chest is hurting a bit, last night I had trouble breathing again so I guess he is worried. I am fine, I just think it's the shock.

So that's my week so far. I start my training for my new job on Thursday which has perked me up. I do also want to try and start an ornament today and maybe finish one! My stitching has been non existant lately. This week I am also making a cake for my BIL's birthday. Can't say what, but it's to do with Grid Iron!

Carlo's Bakery - Cake Boss

My parents are over in the USA (I'm an aussie) and I asked my dad if he could go to Carlo's Bakery while he was in NJ.
Dad went to the Bakery, the line was 2 blocks long. Went back the next day. Got up at 6.30am, missed breakfast. Waited 1/2 an hour.
He got me a Cap, T Shirt, Hoodie, Chef's Jacket, Mug and a suprise!
So I am super excited to see it all when he gets back! He also got me some Yankee Candles. I have heard so many good things about them so I gave him a list of some of the candles I wanted. He said he got me some, I'm not sure how many.
They are back in 25 days.

Here are some pics Dad took of Carlo's Bakery.

My mother in law is coming over this year for Christmas. We are excited about that as hubby and I have not seen her for 7 years. She spoke to hubby the other day and she is insisting we go to the UK next year. She is paying for the airfares. So I guess we are going to the UK next year. I am hoping to go for Christmas so I can have a white Christmas (never had one, or seen snow).
If we go we will be doing a lot of sightseeing. I want to see London, Brighton, Blackpool, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland, Paris and Amsterdam.
Plus many more places. I would also like to go to one of Marco Pierre White's Restaurants, there is one in Dublin as well as one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants and also Heston Blumenthal's restaurant The Fat Duck.
AND I want to go see Choccywoccydoodah in Brighton :)

More good news. I have a new job as a Medical Receptionist at a new Doctors Surgery that is opening in a couple of weeks. I have no experience but the lady liked me. I've been thinking of what direction to take regarding my career. I want to be a Pastry Chef but no one wants a 37 year old apprentice.
Nursing is something else I wanted to do. So this will help me gain some experience and work my way towards that if it all works out. The practice manager is a nurse and she has said she will help me if I need it.

The New Mira design. I like it! I wouldn't do the Mill Hill thing, just leave that off. And the anchor I think I can use and maybe put my initials in there. It would look pretty cool!
